Cyber Security Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join a DoD program supporting the United States Marine Corps located in Quantico, VA. This is an on-site role focused on ensuring systems meet security compliance. The program is fully funded through 2028.

About the Role

The Cyber Security Specialist will work with ACAS to analyze vulnerability scans and mitigate potential threats to the environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment, RMF accreditation, vulnerability management, and security analysis of systems
• Utilize McAfee Endpoint Security and the HBSS Suite to protect Marine Corps Intranet endpoints
• Interpret and troubleshoot ACAS scan results and create/adjust ACAS repositories
• Support the vulnerability management team and operate/manage Information Systems, data, and integrity

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance (required)
• 7+ years of IT experience
• Active IAT Level III Certification: CCNP Sec, CASP CE, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or equivalent/higher
• Experience with HBSS, endpoint security, ACAS, Tanium, or similar tools

Pay

Salary Range: $95,000–$115,000 (depending on experience)
