Cyber Security Engineer - Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the information security architecture.
• Maintain and create necessary documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant laws.
• Monitor and administer security mechanisms for access control and user account management.
• Test and implement technical security tools and controls as required.
• Conduct audits as needed to ensure compliance with published policies.
• Participate in system design reviews and product evaluations.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures regarding data use and access.
• Provide training and consulting on information systems security concepts.
• Assist in audits of data use, access, and policy conformance.
• Manage systems related to Virtual Private Network (VPN), Radius, TACACS, firewalls, encryption methodologies, authentication schemes, wireless technologies, DNS, TCP/IP, routing and switching technologies, intrusion detection, identity management solutions, network directory systems, LDAP, AD, Linux administration, shell scripting, SPAM filtering solutions, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
• Three (3) years of IT Security experience required.
• Familiarity with Cloud and Security Technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Defender.
