Cyber Security Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role• Monitor, investigate, and triage cybersecurity events across a large enterprise.• Analyze security alerts and incidents to identify threats, determine scope, and support containment.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and support incident response.• Identify opportunities to improve security posture and participate in remediation activities.• Conduct data analysis, including root cause analysis, for security event management.• Provide on-call and after-hours support for incident management as needed. What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT or a related field.• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in information security or network engineering.• Ability to communicate investigative findings effectively to non-technical audiences.• Experience with incident handling processes, including containment and remediation.• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
