About the role

Provide technical security expertise across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, focusing on guiding teams through the Risk Management Framework to achieve system Authority to Operate (ATO).

  • Lead and coordinate security engineering teams across multiple task orders, streamlining ATO management processes with engineering solutions and best practice efficiencies.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on operating system hardening and system patching based on DISA STIGs and NIST publications.
  • Analyze security incidents and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Serve as Product Owner for the Security Engineering Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Polygraph.
  • Hold at least one of the following DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II certifications: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CSSLP, or CASP+ CE.
  • Experience supporting DoD/IC systems through the entire Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to ATO.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining a System Security Engineering (SSE) management process.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
