Responsibilities
- Risk & Vulnerability Assessments: Evaluate client information security postures, performing thorough infrastructure, network, and cloud environment scans to pinpoint critical architectural flaws.
- Framework & Compliance Mapping: Guide organizations through the implementation of robust security frameworks, ensuring alignment with major industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Remediation Advisory: Translate complex technical vulnerabilities into clear, actionable mitigation blueprints and present executive-level risk reports to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Incident Readiness Support: Assist in building and testing incident response playbooks, tabletop simulations, and disaster recovery strategies to maximize client operational resilience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional corporate experience in cybersecurity analysis, IT audit, network administration, or dedicated technical consulting.
- Technical Credentialing: Possession of foundational, industry-recognized credentials (such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or GISF) with a desire to track toward advanced certifications like CISSP.
- Mindset: Methodical and detail-oriented, possessed of a strong analytical curiosity, and equipped with the polished verbal communication skills necessary to command trust during high-pressure consulting scenarios.
Pay
Salary Range: $105,000 – $130,000 base structure + Annual Performance Bonus, Equity Options & Premium Health Benefits.
