Cyber Security Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code to automate repetitive security tasks
• Build custom triage tools
• Automate incident response
• Streamline cybersecurity operations
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent military/professional experience)
• 0-2 years of experience in a relevant Cybersecurity technical support environment with a bachelor’s degree or 6 years relevant experience with no relevant bachelor’s degree
• Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI, familiarity with REST APIs, understanding of cybersecurity triage and incident response, comfort with Linux/Unix command-line environment, Git for version control, CI/CD for deployment, and a persistent, curious approach to debugging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent military/professional experience)
• 0-2 years of experience in a relevant Cybersecurity technical support environment with a bachelor’s degree or 6 years relevant experience with no relevant bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc) with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts

Skills

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Understanding of cybersecurity triage and incident response
• Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix command-line environment
• Git for version control
• CI/CD for deployment
