About the role
Maintains security posture through monitoring, correlating, and analyzing security event data from various security solutions and systems. Supports the development and implementation of system security plans. Manages security administration tasks including vulnerability scanning, reporting, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and correlates security event data from multiple sources
- Develops and implements system security plans
- Administers security duties such as vulnerability scanning and incident response
- Tracks and documents remediation efforts
- Develops and presents periodic security metrics reports
- Assists in the preparation of training materials and presentations for cyber security initiatives
Requirements
- Equivalent experience in lieu of degree or diploma
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology/Security, Risk Management, or related field
- 2 years recent relevant experience
- Experience in a healthcare, financial services, critical infrastructure, or other highly regulated environment
- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence and forensic techniques
- Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GCIH, GCFE, GNFA, CISSP, Security+, CySA+
Qualifications
- Knowledge of information systems security concepts and current trends
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Knowledge of diagnostic peritoneal lavage and related technologies
- Skills in Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux environments
- Ability to communicate effectively and prioritize work
- Experience with common enterprise applications and security tools
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of software, hardware, databases, networks, firewalls, encryption, and security devices
- Understanding of diagnostic peritoneal lavage and related technologies
- Familiarity with common enterprise applications, e-mail, web, cloud, client/server applications
- Written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Experience with incident response and post-incident response processes
- Knowledge of common enterprise applications, e-mail, web, cloud, client/server applications

Pay
$117,436.80 to $176,155.20 annual salary, with a range that may vary based on location.
