About the role

This role is responsible for supporting OneAmerica's Information Security program through application security, vulnerability management, security metrics, reporting, and operational security activities. This role helps protect enterprise information assets by identifying, assessing, reporting, and tracking security risks and vulnerabilities while supporting security governance and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support application security initiatives across the enterprise.
• Maintain and report application security and vulnerability management metrics.
• Develop, maintain and distribute security dashboards and reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor security findings and coordinate remediation tracking activities.
• Support security assessments, reviews, and risk identification efforts.
• Collaborate with technology, engineering, and business teams to improve security posture.
• Assist with security governance, compliance, and operational security activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement of security processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Information security, cybersecurity, application security, vulnerability management, risk management, or related technology experience.
• Experience working with security tools, metrics, reporting, and security operations processes.

Qualifications

Recommended certifications:

• Security+
• CISSP (or progress toward certification)
• GIAC certifications
• Other security-related certifications

Schedule

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
