Description of Responsibilities
- Ensure personnel have proper IA certifications.
- Conduct self-inspections on COMPUSEC Program.
- Support IG cybersecurity and COMSEC inspections.
- Accept, review, and respond to tickets.
- Review software inventories and perform reviews.
- Research software for use on networks.
- Maintain data loss prevention program.
- Distribute cybersecurity newsletters.
- Implement vulnerability remediations.
- Manage POA&M and security inspections.
- Manage COMSEC Responsible Officers.
- Operate encryption devices.
- Provide network vulnerability management.
- Monitor and scan for security threats.
- Coordinate with CFP for TCNO resolutions.
- Maintain SCCM server health.
- Generate and report TCNO status listings.
- Complete vulnerability scans across networks.
- Monitor and mitigate cyber events.
- Support Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs).
Requirements
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
- IA certification for administrative functions.
- Information system environment certification.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and technologies.
- Experience using eMASS-NIPR and eMASS-SIPR.
- Experience with ACAS, ACT, SCCM, Remote Desktop, and Remedy Ticketing System.
- Experience patching and securing endpoints and network devices.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS network systems.
- Previous experience supporting CCRIs and IG visits.
