Basic Qualifications
- STEM Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline – Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity Assurance, or Cyber Defense preferred or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience with embedded security solutions.
- Experience with cyber security concepts for Test Equipment.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques.
- Must have a Security+ certification.
Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cybersecurity Quality Engineer familiar with cyber requirements for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. You will be the Cyber Quality Engineer for the PF LOB Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for safeguarding the security and integrity of Lockheed Martin systems and products through rigorous cybersecurity compliance.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Cyber Quality Engineer you will be helping to develop an overarching operating procedure to compliance according to contract requirements, internal command media and industry standards. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Reviewing cybersecurity procedures, supporting daily cyber activities, and partnering with cross-functional teams to close security gaps.
- Support the overarching operating procedures and processes for cybersecurity compliance.
- Witness cyber inspections, scans, image builds, threat detections, vulnerability scans, assessments and testing.
- Collaborate with other functions such as Cyber Engineering, Security, Software Engineering and Test Engineering teams to embed best-practice security controls.
- Facilitate and host quality meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to drive cybersecurity excellence.
- Travel as needed to support program cyber activities and on-site assessments.

Desired Skills
- Leverage Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) and other quality management methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and/or Anti-tamper including system design and vulnerability assessment.
- Strong understanding of network security, threats and vulnerabilities, cryptography and access control.
- CISSP certification - in-depth understanding of network security, threats and vulnerabilities, cryptography and access control.

- Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS Management System standards (AS9100, ISO9001).
- Experience working in different program phases (IRAD, Development, Production, Sustainment).
- Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, Corrective Action, Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis)
- Experience In Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration And Test.
- Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.
- Effective communication skills including written, oral, listening, presentation and technical writing.
