The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD) is looking for a full-time Information Technology (IT) Specialist (INFOSEC), GG-2210-13 to serve as a Cyber Defense Analystfor Air Combat Command (ACC), 67th Cyberspace Wing (67 CW), 318th Cyber Operations Group (318 IOG), Hurlburt Field, Mary Esther, Florida. Moving expenses may be paid. Recruitment incentives may be available based on experience. Salary Range: $132,751 - $181,428 per year based on experience. Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period. This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. Qualifications/Requirements In this role, you will serve as an experienced, Senior-skill-level Cyber Defense Analyst, Cyberspace Protection Team (CPT) Mission Element curriculum leader, instructor, and training system technical expert. Instructs mission partners to ensure Mission Assurance (MA) and Information Assurance (IA) of critical key cyber terrain and mission areas. As an experienced Senior-skill level operational team member, enables hardening of systems and networks against exploitation, detect unauthorized, malicious, or adversary activity, eliminate adversary presence, and assess defensive capabilities by utilizing leading edge computer security technology, tactics, techniques, and procedures. Provides technical expertise in the performance of work requiring the application of cyber security principles, methods, and techniques. Applies advanced cyber operations knowledge in the planning, research, design, development, test, evaluation, integration, modification, or exploitation of complex electronic and operational mission systems to support the organization's mission objectives. U.S. Citizenship (Required)This is a designated Drug Testing PositionMust be able to obtain and maintain a “Top Secret” security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).Must be able to obtain and maintain Department of Defense (DoD) Cyberspace Workforce Framework Foundational qualification within 9 months of assignment; resident qualifications within 12 months of assignment. Required Core Competencies Knowledge and understanding of Air Force (AF), Joint, Department of Defense (DoD), and national-level doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives related to assigned programs and projects. Knowledge of Cyber Mission Forces (CMF) training administration, policies, and procedures to develop an adequate training program for Cyber Operations tactical planning/execution of mission tasks. Subject matter expertise with multiple cyber and network operating systems and associated infrastructures. Knowledge of a wide range of federal and agency operational/tactical concepts, principles, practices, procedures, regulations, and laws applicable to the work roles and the full range of weapons and tactics program responsibilities with respect to cyberspace operations integration. Knowledge of cyber weapon system architecture, tactics, techniques, and procedures.Ability to expertly evaluate DoD and AF cyberspace policies, technical papers, briefings, discussions, and program risk indicators to determine impacts to mission activities. Highly Desired Bachelor’s Degree, or higher in a related cyberspace security field of study.Cyberspace Forces operations experience.
