About the role
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Network and Systems Administrators to join our team in supporting the Air Force’s Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Enterprise program.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the local Air Force Sensitive Compartmented Information (AFSCI) Network (formerly JWICS), overseeing network operations for MAJCOM, NAF, Wing, and subordinate unit Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
- Support all aspects of network service management to include user support, performance management, account management, security management, and fault management.
- Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot local base AFSCI network IT and network requirements, to include the following: Hardware and firmware updates, encryption devices, data networks, network drops, and network devices such as switches, routers, VoSIP, and firewalls.
- Administer the configuration and performance of network assets and ensure network infrastructure connectivity through network management toolsets and administrative functions.
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of network switches, TACLANES, routers, computer data circuits, hardware installations, VOIP, DVTC, and related apparatus and peripherals required to network infrastructure.
- Provide technical solutions, including but not limited to, copper and fiber into a heterogeneous, manageable system for new and existing AFSCI network customers.
- Administer network IP address space, domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Deliver highly technical business, engineering, and security functions to provide analytical and implementation support for IC ITE services, Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E), and GOVCLOUD services across multi-domain networks.
- Coordinate with 16 AF/A6O, Air Force, DoD, and other government agencies to drive the successful development, integration, and ultimate accreditation of mission-critical systems, platforms, and applications.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Candidates must meet all DOD 8140 451 (SYSADMIN) Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) requirements for installing, configuring, maintaining and securing IT hardware & software.
- Additional Requirements: Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and local security and conduct standards.
- Minimum Education: Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with at least five years of related senior-level experience.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years network and systems administration-related experience; at least part of the required experience must be within the past two (2) years.
- Required Certifications: Must meet DoD 8140.02 / DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification Requirements Appropriate DCWF role alignment (e.g., Cyber Defense Analyst, ISSO, Network or Systems Security roles).
Qualifications
- Experience in DoD, Air Force, or Intelligence Community networks or systems administration, including AFSCI or AFDCGS network operations.
- Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, IC GovCloud).
- Familiarity with RMF, continuous monitoring, and security control assessments.
- Experience supporting ISSO, Systems Administrator, or Network Security functions.
- Completion of AF IC CYBER 100 Course (highly desired).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $100k to $150k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
