About the role
The CWI/NACE Level 3 Inspector is responsible for ensuring the Project Quality Plan and Project Execution Plan are developed and implemented. This role promotes quality awareness within the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to support overall business success.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the Project Quality Plan and Project Execution Plan are developed and implemented.
- Promote quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Sign witness and hold points on behalf of the client, in accordance with the ITP.
- Complete final inspection and release activities in accordance with the approved ITP.
- Ensure all ITP steps are signed by the supplier first, then signed off by the inspector as completed.
- Issue the inspection release note upon satisfactory completion.
Requirements
- Current CWI certification.
- NACE level 3 Certification or higher.
- Hot Tap and Line Stop experience.
- Construction welding inspection experience.
- Proficient in use and calibration of welding inspection tools.
- Able to monitor in-process welding applications and verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Able to work and communicate in a team environment.
- Must possess fundamental verbal and writing skills in English.
Qualifications
- Current CWI certification.
- NACE level 3 Certification or higher.
- Hot Tap and Line Stop experience.

Skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
- Good visual acuity with regards to color, depth perception, and field vision.
- Alertness to job-related hazards and ability to recognize when hazards change.
