Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, make critical assessments, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Assessment: Conducts admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition. Provides nursing care to meet physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Notifies doctor of changes requiring attention.
Planning: Designs, directs, evaluates, and documents the plan of care, patient/family teaching, and the transition of care plan. Works with other clinical disciplines to meet specialized patient care and discharge needs. Formulates a plan of care and daily goals considering individualized patient needs.
Implementation: Prepares patients for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic studies to reduce anxiety. Knows patients' conditions and reports significant changes to appropriate personnel. Implements patient safety initiatives and protocols, including medication safety practices and physician orders.
Evaluation: Reassesses patients at appropriate intervals following interventions. Notifies physician as necessary to modify interventions. Adjusts nursing care to meet patient's evolving needs.
Report Skills: Gives and receives bedside shift reports, including family participation. Provides an accurate and comprehensive report to the oncoming shift to ensure continuity of patient care. Receives report from the previous shift.
Requirements
Required: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and one (1) year of RN experience, upon hire.
Preferred: Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
Registered Nurse: Texas, upon hire.
Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months of hire.

Pay Range
$35.45 - $55.36 /hour
