CVPH EMT - Critical Care (or Paramedic)

The EMT-Paramedic functions as defined by New York State Department of Health, Emergency Medical Services certification standards.

Performs all duties as outlined by local Medical Control Protocols.

• On-call for ambulance calls, with ambulance calls taking priority.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• EMT-Paramedic certification required.
• Previous experience as an EMT-Paramedic preferred.
• On-line status in Mountain Lakes Region preferred.
• Mets requirements of pre-employment screening and physical.
• Holds a current U.S. Driver's license.
• Mets requirement to drive an ambulance.
