Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform intricate manual and automated assembly of CVG200 units, following detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble components with precision.
  • C Conduct in-process and final testing of CVG200 units using various testing equipment and diagnostic tools to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex assembly and component issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
  • Interpret and apply technical documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, and process specifications.
  • Perform rework and repair operations on non-conforming products to bring them to specification.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including assembly logs, test results, and defect reports.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and company policies.
  • Train and mentor less experienced assemblers (Assembler I and II) on complex assembly processes and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, performing routine calibration and basic troubleshooting as required.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Proven expertise in reading and interpreting intricate blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform precise soldering, crimping, and wiring operations.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and experience with various inspection and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly and testing equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting work and interacting with colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Prior experience training or mentoring other assemblers is highly desirable.
