Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Perform intricate manual and automated assembly of CVG200 units, following detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble components with precision.
- C Conduct in-process and final testing of CVG200 units using various testing equipment and diagnostic tools to ensure functionality and quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex assembly and component issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Interpret and apply technical documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, and process specifications.
- Perform rework and repair operations on non-conforming products to bring them to specification.
- Maintain accurate production records, including assembly logs, test results, and defect reports.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and company policies.
- Train and mentor less experienced assemblers (Assembler I and II) on complex assembly processes and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Operate and maintain production equipment, performing routine calibration and basic troubleshooting as required.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Proven expertise in reading and interpreting intricate blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Demonstrated ability to perform precise soldering, crimping, and wiring operations.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and experience with various inspection and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly and testing equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting work and interacting with colleagues.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Prior experience training or mentoring other assemblers is highly desirable.
