About the role

Specializes in planning and providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator implants, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart disease interventions, and other procedures involving the cardiac and vascular systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians by implementing and performing a cardiac catheterization plan of care using standards of AORN aseptic techniques, cardiac and peripheral anatomy physiology, radiographic imaging techniques, and principles of cardiovascular technology.
• Multi campus work required.
• Multi campus call required.

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: 2 years
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
