Responsibilities
- Performs both cardiac and vascular ultrasound testing to include 2D echo/Doppler, dobutamine stress, exercise stress, and multiple vascular procedures including carotids, arterials, venous duplex, aorta, and renal artery duplex.
- Provides cardiac and vascular ultrasound to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population and provides all necessary documentation and preliminary interpretation of results.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
- Work Experience: No experience required.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
- Echocardiography: ARDMS or CCI RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) required upon hire.
- Vascular Testing: ARDMS or CCI RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Vascular Technologist (RVT) required upon hire.
