Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to examine tissues and body structures in adult and pediatric patients, utilizing various modes and techniques.
• Affixes to cardiovascular diagnostics such as echocardiograms, stress tests, TEE, carotid ultrasounds, and pulse volume recordings.
• Schedules tests, maintains logs, and documents results accurately.
• Prepares patient records for referring physicians and ensures patient safety during procedures.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited sonography program, and BLS certification are required.
• One year of relevant sonography experience is preferred; certification must align with departmental work.
