CV Quality Research & Risk Manager
About the Role
This role provides leadership and operational oversight for a team of approximately 17 direct reports while managing a cardiovascular research program consisting of 60+ active studies. The Manager, CV Quality, Research & Risk, provides direction and oversight for a variety of cardiovascular services including CV Data registries, CV Mortality & Morbidity review, CV Research, STEMI Data, outcomes, and outreach. Additionally, this position oversees the EKG and Central Telemetry Monitoring Departments.
Responsibilities
- Department and program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation
- Administrative duties related to operational and capital budget
- Oversight of staffing in all areas
- Ensuring compliance with DNV, Joint Commission, FDA, IRB, HMC, and other relevant professional regulatory standards
- Coordinating ongoing education for department leadership
- Quality and outcomes reporting
Requirements
- RN License or current license deemed acceptable by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Associate's degree in Nursing with a bachelor’s in a relevant area
- 3 years’ experience in a related field
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Master’s Degree (MHA, Nursing, or other relevant field)
- 4+ years’ experience in cardiovascular or clinical research environments, including hospital-based research programs, academic/university research settings, pharmaceutical organizations, or medical device companies

About the Team
Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
