CV PA (surgical-vein grafting) → Surgical Vein Graft Assistant

Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant with vein harvesting experience to support a growing cardiovascular surgery program. Responsibilities include: assisting in cardiothoracic surgeries such as CABG, performing endoscopic and open vein harvesting, assisting with chest and wound closure, and managing pre- and postoperative care.Conducting inpatient and ICU rounds, developing treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic results, and managing post-operative complications.Performing bedside procedures, removing chest tubes, pacing wires, drains, and providing inpatient consultations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited PA program with NCCPA certification.Active or eligible PA license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.Minimum of 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred.Proven experience with vein harvesting techniques.
