Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff
• Obtain information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff and report any changes
• Provide pre- and post-procedural care under the direction of the nursing staff

Requirements

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Required: Experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting within the last 3 years, or
• EMT, CNA, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years, or
• Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years, or
• Completed fundamentals of nursing course with clinical in an accredited professional or practice nursing program, or
• Completion of 90 days in the Apprenticeship position
