Cutting Tool Engineer

About the role

Manage and enhance production line productivity and quality by optimizing cutting tool designs, supporting continuous improvement and technological development. No sponsorship available; requires ability to work in office and production environments, with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead tool budgeting
• Troubleshoot tooling issues
• Develop and analyze cutting tools and holders
• Support new model and process development
• Provide technical support for setup and regrind
• Coordinate tool testing
• Facilitate collaboration with customers and suppliers
• Communicate technical findings effectively

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related experience
• 2-8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and manage projects
