About the role

Foster Farms is seeking a skilled worker to join their team. This position involves feeding and processing chickens, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Feed front half of bird into breast processor
• Remove downgrade front halves and place into bucket
• Take bucket to front half hopper
• Lift breast halves and place on cone
• Score front half and pop wishbone
• Cut fillets and remove chicken tender and breasts
• Trim to specification
• If breast processor is down, manually cut wings and skin front half
• Package breast fillets, tenders and wings
• Feed chicken parts into machinery

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/metal grate ergo stands or on the floor
• Able to use small hand held tools such as knives or scissors
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting of 4 to 10 pounds
• Able to rotate to all positions
• Able to work in a cold, warm or wet environment
• Able to work around moving equipment
