About the role
Coordinate the documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for the entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers. Provide impeccable customer service and ensure compliance with all international importing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, the internet, or customs resources.
- Perform data entry and process various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs, including limited handling of Participating Government Agencies (PGAs).
- Maintain and update all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Work closely with internal staff and departments to deliver a high level of service to customers.
- Process agency brokerage shipments and ensure adherence to all government and organizational policies.
- Handle a high volume of time-sensitive work with minimal supervision.
- Interact with internal staff, management, and departments at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No industry experience required; paid training provided.
- Data entry or keyboard experience required.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications (e.g., Outlook) using multiple screens and windows.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use multiple systems and reference materials.
- Handle high-volume and time-sensitive work efficiently.
Schedule
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM CST
- Sunday: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM CST

This is a hybrid role located in Memphis, Tennessee.
