Customs & International Trade Tax - Senior Manager

About the role

PwC's tax services focus on providing advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. In indirect tax, you will specialize in VAT, GST, sales tax, and other indirect taxes. You will advise clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping them navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimize their indirect tax positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale projects in customs and trade tax
• Innovate and enhance processes to achieve operational excellence
• Engage with clients at a senior level to deliver impactful results
• Utilize knowledge to guide clients in business transformation
• Motivate and coach teams to tackle complex challenges
• Develop top-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams
• Integrate regulatory compliance into business operations
• Drive strategic planning for duty and trade strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6 years of experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials

Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Data Processing/Analytics/Science preferred
• Licensed Customs Broker certification preferred
• Understanding of US Customs and Border Protection procedures
• Analyzing client internal control practices
• Evaluating client compliance with import control regulations
• Addressing client needs and building relationships
• Leading teams and fostering innovation
• Utilizing automation and digitization in business environments

• Salary range: $124,000 - $335,000
