Customs Compliance Specialist
Job Title

The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. Supports daily import/export operations
- Liaise with customs brokers to facilitate timely clearance.
- Assist in the review of entry declarations by verifying data such as valuation, country of origin, and trade program claims against commercial documents.
- Support daily Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations by maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is filed in accordance with FTZ regulations.
- Aid in the preparation and organization of import/export documentation, permits, and licenses.
- Track duty and tax payments and gather necessary records to help senior staff respond to CBP audits or inquiries.
- Perform routine checks of trade documentation to verify accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and report any discrepancies and assist in documenting the necessary corrections.
- Review shipping documentation for each transaction to verify that all details align with current customs regulations and internal requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to provide updates on shipment status and basic customs requirements.
- Resolve routine compliance questions and escalate complex issues to management for guidance.
- Maintain compliance trackers and assist in the preparation of weekly or monthly KPI reports.
- Provide data support to help the team identify shipment trends and potential areas for administrative improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of import and export activities as required by law.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience:
- At least 0~1 year of experience as a customs entry writer/broker.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiar with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and 19CFR.
- Demonstrated experience with FTZ regulations and operational processes is a plus.
- Possession of an active U.S Customs Broker’s License is a plus.

Shift Expectations
(Technician) TSMC Arizona operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This position requires candidate to have ability and willingness to work any shift (day or night) in a compressed work week schedule once training is done. The compressed work week shift structure is Work 4 days on, 3 days off for one week and 3 days on, 4 days off the next week. Shift is 12 hour shifts from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am.
