Responsibilities
- Resolve customer concerns and communicate opportunities to improve operations.
- Demonstrate company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
- Greet customers in a genuine and friendly manner, assisting them with product retrieval and heavy items.
- Anticipate customer needs, communicate effectively, and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer loyalty.
- Oversee front-end operations to meet or exceed sales, profit, and labor goals through effective cost control, labor efficiencies, and excellent service.
- Maintain front-end cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
- Train, monitor, and coach associates on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Operate checkout equipment and assist with various front-end functions, including stocking, bagging, and cleaning.
- Comply with and reinforce food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations, identifying unsafe conditions and reporting illegal activity.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Friendly, approachable, outgoing demeanor and team player.
- Fast-paced environment adaptability.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
