About the role
Ventrac, a division of The Toro Company, is seeking a Customer Support Specialist III to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in the implementation and success of our new ecommerce platform.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator of the ecommerce platform, maintaining product content, promotions, and customer experience improvements.
- Cook up end-to-end order management, including web order processing, picklist creation, shipment scheduling, invoicing, fulfillment tracking and returns/shipment claims.
- Partner with manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy, lead times, and operational readiness for order fulfillment.
- Respond to customer phone and email inquiries regarding parts specifications, availability, and general product information, delivering exceptional service through a positive, relationship-focused approach.
- Deliver comprehensive customer support by troubleshooting technical issues, managing credit card payment concerns, and coordinating shipment processing to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the Information Technology (IT) team on website enhancements, bug resolution, and system performance issues.
- Identify new online growth opportunities, marketplace expansion, customer segments, and digital sales channels.
- Create and monitor metrics relating to order accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, or GED equivalent required. 2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Successfully demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone communication skills. Professional interpersonal skills utilizing patience and empathy while assisting customers with inquiries and technical assistance. Exhibit initiative and be a team player who supports company objectives and culture. Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical and operational information correctly. Self-motivated individual who understands the importance of creating and maintaining a positive, memorable customer experience. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite, SAP.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain. Advanced product knowledge with tractor equipment, accessories, and components. 1+ years of shipping experience. 1-3 years of applicable work experience.
