About the role
The Customer Service Specialist will be based at OrthoCarolina Business Office in Charlotte.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route business office patient account phone calls to the appropriate individuals within the company.
- Aid patients with their account questions and inquiries regarding the OrthoCarolina business office.
- Process electronic insurance claims, generate and analyze custom claims reports.
- Handle processing of insurance claims for secondary payers.
- Process credit card transactions and post them to patient accounts.
Qualifications
- Health care and/or medical billing experience.
- Experience in processing electronic insurance claims and generating claim reports.
- Ability to handle insurance claims for secondary payers and process credit card transactions.
- Comfortable with heavy phone work and able to maintain focus in a high-volume environment.
