Customer Success Manager (Enterprise Accounts)
The Customer Success Manager (Enterprise Accounts) role is based in the United States and is managed by a partner company. This position involves building lasting relationships with enterprise customers, driving business and security outcomes, and working in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
About the role
You will own the customer journey from onboarding through renewal, ensuring clients achieve long-term success and maximize the value of their investment. You will partner closely with product, engineering, support, and sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients through every stage of the post-sales lifecycle while ensuring strong adoption, retention, and long-term success.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders.
- Manage the end-to-end customer relationship from onboarding through renewal for a portfolio of enterprise accounts.
- Lead structured onboarding programs in collaboration with Solutions Engineering and Support to accelerate customer adoption and time-to-value.
- Develop and maintain customer success plans aligned with business objectives, use cases, and risk profiles.
- Conduct regular customer check-ins, executive business reviews, and strategic planning sessions to drive ongoing engagement.
- Cook up with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales teams to resolve customer issues and ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain customer health, identify risks early, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Own renewal planning, forecasting, stakeholder alignment, and commercial discussions while identifying expansion opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback, product usage insights, and business needs to help shape future product improvements.
- Promote best practices in identity, authentication, and account protection while helping customers mature their security strategies.
Requirements
- A proven background in enterprise customer success or post-sales account management within a B2B SaaS environment.
- An excellent communicator who can build trusted executive relationships while balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
- 3-7 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or post-sales roles within B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated ownership of customer renewals, retention, and long-term account success.
- Experience leading structured onboarding programs and customer adoption initiatives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders, including IT and security leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple enterprise accounts while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving customer risks.
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional environments and collaborating with technical and commercial teams.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance empathy, accountability, and business objectives.
- Experience in cybersecurity, identity management, IAM, authentication, or related technology sectors is a strong advantage.
