Purpose
The purpose of Branch is to revolutionize AEC design software by enabling new design spaces and changing the relationship between designers and engineers and software.
About the Role
This is a founding go-to-market role at Branch. Our early customers are architects, engineers, and AEC professionals running real projects through Branch Concept. The role involves making pilots successful, defining how Branch Concept is positioned, sold, and scaled, and shaping the customer-facing process.
Responsibilities
- Embed with current pilot participants, run onboarding, train new users, and stay close as they put Branch Concept to work on real projects.
- Turn every pilot conversation into structured insight that informs the product roadmap.
- Own how we describe Branch Concept publicly across our website, conference talks, demo scripts, case studies, blog, and social channels.
- Find, qualify, and onboard the next cohort of pilot users.
- Partner with leadership on pricing, packaging, and the early sales motion.
Requirements
- Wired for customer relationships: Enjoy spending time with users, take their feedback personally, and treat each pilot participant like a partner rather than a test subject.
- Product marketing instincts: Think in positioning, messaging, and customer stories, and translate a deeply technical product into language designers actually use.
- Write well, and write a lot: Most of this role is written work: onboarding docs, case studies, customer notes back to product, conference talks, website copy.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: Define your own role, and work together with leadership to determine what beta and general availability look like.
- Learn quickly: No prior experience in AEC is required but strongly preferred, but you will immerse yourself in our domain and be hungry for it.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product marketing, customer success, or a closely related GTM role at an early-stage software company, ideally one selling a technical or design-led product.
- Background in AEC is a plus but not required.
- Hands-on design or engineering experience of any kind is a plus.
Skills
- Customer relationships: Enjoy spending time with users, take their feedback personally, and treat each pilot participant like a partner rather than a test subject.
- Positioning, messaging, and content: Own how we describe Branch Concept publicly across our website, conference talks, demo scripts, case studies, blog, and social channels.
- Onboarding and training: Run onboarding, train new users, and stay close as they put Branch Concept to work on real projects.
- Customer learning and synthesis: Turn every pilot conversation into structured insight that informs the product roadmap.
- Content creation: Write onboarding docs, case studies, customer notes back to product, conference talks, website copy.
- Market positioning: Set the editorial cadence, partner with product to make the story sharp, and build our point of view in AEC software.
- Customer acquisition: Find, qualify, and onboard the next cohort of pilot users.
- Early sales motion: Partner with leadership on pricing, packaging, and the early sales motion.
