Customer Success – Associate Client Director – Princeton, NJ based

About the role

This role is based in Princeton, NJ, with a hybrid 1-2 week travel schedule. The position is open as an Associate Client Director.

Responsibilities

  • Leading commercial strategy and sales of NielsenIQ's solutions as part of client contract renewals or RFPs
  • Developing commercial elements of joint business plan
  • Developing NIQ account plan & sales strategy
  • Achieving sales and strategic objectives
  • Building meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams
  • Representing voice of customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams
  • Uncovering and disseminating retailer, manufacturer, and competitive intelligence
  • Recognizing potential revenue opportunities with customers and partnering with Sales Leaders to enable them to achieve sales goals
  • Working collaboratively with internal partners to ensure work is connected to customer business objectives, delivered on-time, and focused on outcome

  • The ability to effectively tell a story that captures the audience, regardless of what level, and brings them along your journey
  • The ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team, within a dynamic and challenging environment while maintaining high standards
  • Experience in working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution
  • 4-7 years relevant experience with research techniques & solutions in the related industries of Consumer-Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics or similar
  • Effective in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation
  • Strong analytical aptitude and proficiency in presenting analysis and insights
  • Polished, persuasive communication and presentation skills
  • Mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment
  • Demonstrated record of creating strong client relationships and driving value
  • Strong project and team management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Bachelor's degree required
