Key Deliverables
- Display a positive attitude and provide courteous, friendly service to all internal team members and external clients by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Lanter Delivery Systems Non-Negotiables and apply the concepts daily.
- Communicate directly with Customer management team regarding dock issues, shipment expectations or parts services issues/concerns.
- Coach, motivate, and empower team members and co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assigned tasks and duties ensuring procedures and policies are being followed.
- Document interactions in a timely manner.
- Have regular one-on-one conversations with each direct report, discussing overall performance as well as team members goals.
- Provide training and support as needed to ensure continued growth.
- Aid in hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to be successful.
- Assist with managing carrier providers to ensure they meet expectations by picking up and delivering freight on time and error free according to customer specifications.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects.
- Generate daily customer reports.
- Communicate with transportation companies.
- Ensure effective and safe use of all warehouse equipment with training, manuals, and proper safety measures.
- Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of vehicles.
- Audit and report inventory while recommending which items to order and restock.
- Set warehouse and team goals with executive management and other team leads.
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve individual and team effectiveness.
- Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
- Protect company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to client, team member, and proprietary company information.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position; hours of work are typically Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm, averaging 45 hours per week, with an occasional night or Saturday based on the needs of the business.
- Evenings, overnights, and weekends are required based on location and needs of business.
Background and Experience
- Proven success in warehouse management.
- Ability to operate a forklift effectively.
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a warehouse environment with unforgiving surfaces as well as hot and cold climates with a variety of noises and odors.
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting with regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, copier, phone, filing cabinets and fax machine.

- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
