Customer Services Specialist
About the role
Loudoun County Department of Family Services seeks a Customer Services Specialist to join the Customer Services Unit. The successful candidate will provide front counter service, handle incoming and outgoing mail, direct phone calls, issue Electronic Benefit Transaction cards, maintain program documentation, and respond to customer inquiries.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of related work experience in a clerical position involving contact with the public and working with automated systems or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Dependable, works effectively in a fast-paced, structured environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using data systems and multi-line phone systems
- Maintains strong organizational skills
- Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates empathy and respect
Qualifications

Benefits

Pay
The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position that may require you to work beyond the normal 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. workday, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of criminal background, CPS, credit, and DMV checks
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required (driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification)
