Ewing Outdoor Supply is a fourth-generation, family-owned wholesale landscape, irrigation, and outdoor supply company looking for dependable, customer-focused team members to join our operations team. About the role

This hands-on, foundational role supports day-to-day operations in a fast-paced wholesale environment serving contractors and industry professionals. While prior industry experience is preferred, it is not required; we provide world-class training to set you up for success from day one.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales
  • Greet customers, answer calls, field questions, and build customer relationships.
  • Support customers in selecting landscape materials, outdoor supplies, and irrigation product recommendations.
• Warehouse & Yard Operations
  • Pull, stage, and load customer orders, including stone, soil, mulch, and hardscape materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming warehouse and yard while following all equipment and material-handling safety standards.
• Inventory Management
  • Receive and stock deliveries and transfers.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
• Delivery and Transportation
  • Load and unload materials using company delivery vehicles while following all safety protocols.
  • Safely deliver customer materials in company delivery vehicles to local job sites, providing world-class customer service upon arrival.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Eagerness to work as a team and deliver world-class customer service.
• Comfortable working most of your shift on your feet and performing repetitive physical tasks, such as stooping, squatting, and lifting items above your head.
• Comfortable operating and making deliveries on a daily route in an Isuzu NRR 650 or similar commercial vehicle.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse associate experience.
• Delivery driver experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of irrigation, plumbing, or landscape materials.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English).
• Proven work experience as a Customer Service Associate, Sales Associate, or similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions (willing to train the right candidate).

Pay

$18–20/hr, depending on experience.
