Customer Service Vehicle Delivery Driver

About The Role

• Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (a commercial license is not required; you will receive ample training)
• Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler (this part requires physical effort) and regularly inspect the car-hauler to ensure the vehicle remains safe to drive
• Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system
• Consistently drive safely and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy
• Obtain a Notary in your local jurisdiction within the first 90 days of employment (process sponsored by Carvana, may involve satisfying state-specific requirements)
• Satisfy state-specific requirements related to access DMV/title and registration systems
• Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri employees: obtain a Chauffeur's license or state specialty license within the first two weeks of employment (process sponsored by Carvana)
• California employees: obtain a Vehicle Verifier license within the first 90 days of employment (process sponsored by Carvana)
• Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia employees: apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment (process sponsored by Carvana; failure to secure it may impact continued employment)

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like detailing vehicles and loading/unloading vehicles onto haulers in indoor and outdoor conditions, with occasional exposure to inclement/extreme weather (e.g., snow or summer heat)
• Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Requires high and low levels of movement, including reaching, twisting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, and squatting
• Requires grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling items up to 50 lbs
• Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
• Must pass a drug test and obtain a DOT Medical Card

Schedule

Shift hours: 9am – 7pm. Team members must be available to work 7 days a week, with rotating days off between weekdays and weekends.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate: $17/hr
• At 3 months: $17.50/hr
• At 6 months: $18/hr
• Within the first year, you can progress to $19/hr through our performance-based Careers Not Jobs program, which offers four merit opportunities annually
• Eligible team members receive an additional $0.50 increase every 90 days
• Market Operations may offer other performance-based incentive programs specific to your location
