Customer Service Specialist

Contract position based in North Kingstown, RI.

About the role

We're seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support in a call center environment. This hybrid role requires availability between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a mix of onsite and remote work after training.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
• Accurately document customer interactions and follow established procedures
• Research and troubleshoot customer concerns while maintaining service quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a positive customer experience
• Meet productivity, attendance, and performance expectations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of call center experience preferred
• Strong customer service experience in a professional or retail environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
• Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• High School diploma required (Associates or Bachelor preferred)
• Previous call center and/or phone-based customer service experience
• Teamwork mentality and ability to work assigned shifts

Schedule

• Training Period: 6-8 weeks, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (100% onsite)
• Post-Training: Hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
• Employees can expect to work one to two shifts per week from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Final schedules assigned upon completion of training

Pay

$18.50 - $18.50/hr
