About The Role

The Customer Service Specialist at Bel Brands is a vital role responsible for managing the company's supply chain relationships with customers. The successful candidate will oversee order management processes, resolve issues promptly, and ensure the timely delivery of products while maintaining accurate invoicing. This role requires building strong relationships with internal teams such as Sales, Master Data, and Logistics, as well as external stakeholders including customers and logistics partners. The Customer Service Specialist will analyze order trends to identify opportunities for process improvements, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the overall efficiency of the supply chain. The role involves navigating various software platforms, including SAP, third-party logistics systems, and EDI providers, to ensure seamless order processing and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-centric environment, preferably within consumer packaged goods (CPG), supply chain, or logistics roles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective business relationships.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in account management and business development is desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP order-to-invoice processing and reporting is strongly preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage all supply chain communications and activities for assigned customers, including purchase order processing and issue resolution from order placement to delivery and invoicing.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize SAP and other logistics platforms to oversee customer accounts, ensuring compliance with all requirements and specifications.
• Analyze order trends and patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased customer efficiency.
• Process various customer orders, including imports, sample requests, donations, and returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide support to Regional Sales Managers by managing sample requests, product availability inquiries, customer documentation, and delivery status updates.
• Collaborate closely with the Commercial Master Data and Sales teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in SAP.
• Navigate and operate multiple systems such as SAP, third-party logistics platforms, and EDI providers to facilitate order processing and fulfillment.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, reliability, and professionalism in all work activities.
