This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Service Specialist based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and their families by understanding their needs and connecting them with appropriate resources and referrals.
- Conduct targeted conversations to assess individual situations and gather relevant personal information required to identify suitable support options.
- Obtain geographic preferences and specific criteria to deliver accurate and personalized recommendations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally through phone and written interactions with clients and service providers.
- Handle customer questions and concerns with empathy, patience, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Perform quality assurance follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and service effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records and complete data entry with strong attention to detail, grammar, and documentation standards.
- Consistently uphold service quality standards while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete additional operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally and empathetically.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on delivering positive and supportive experiences.
- Ability to manage sensitive conversations with discretion, patience, and professionalism.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity in a remote environment.
- Comfortable using technology and digital tools to manage customer interactions and documentation.
