About the role

Buils a loyal customer base by solving customer problems, providing excellent customer service and by making the store experience interactive, engaging, and reassuring by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Develops positive customer relationships.
  • Serves customers by matching them with just the right products.
  • Maintains the visual appeal of the store.
  • Makes the most effective use of the store displays.
  • Maintains the expertise to explain product features and benefits.
  • Calculates discounts and any promotions as applicable to the rental agreement or sale.
  • Ensures the customer folders are setup, filed and maintained properly.
  • Qualifies customers for the product.
  • Performs regular sales and marketing calls.
  • Seeks and maintains knowledge of current products, pricing, sales, promotion, policies, and procedures.
  • Affords assistance with creating and verifying rental agreements and educating customers on their agreement.
  • Affords assistance with training and developing the stores delivery and installation specialists.
  • Affords assistance with managing store inventory.
  • Affords assistance with refurbishing store merchandise.
  • Completes any other tasks assigned at the discretion of management.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of Ideal and PawnMaster.
  • Valid driver's license.
