About the role

Astura’s Customer Service Specialist will serve as the main line of communication between the sales force and the internal operations team. This position manages the complete lifecycle of the sales process from onboarding and approval to the processing of sales transactions. This is a fast-paced environment where strong attention to detail is key, requiring the ability to multi-task several events simultaneously and collaborate with departments such as shipping, purchasing, and operations. The role operates in a team-driven setting with a focus on meeting daily deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of the distributor and sales onboarding process, including preparation and distribution of approval and legal documents
  • Processing and communication of sales orders and inventory requests
  • Management of outstanding purchase orders
  • Processing requests for product, literature, shipping labels, tracking, and other data
  • Coordinating the transfer and delivery of inventory
  • Handling returns and field inventory discrepancies
  • Collaboration with internal departments such as Materials to ensure systems data is correct
  • Available to work overtime when needed

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. This position reports to the office daily; remote or hybrid opportunities are not available at this time.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to work in a high-paced environment
  • Expert-level computer and software skills
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with ERP Software; SAP experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the listed qualifications
  • Some college is preferred, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Orthopedic Spine (preferred but not required)
