Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Pay

$15.00 per hour. Opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses.

Schedule

Flexible and full-time schedules between the hours of 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm).

Employees become eligible for full-time benefits by working an average of 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations, both inside and outside
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
• Assist customers with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Able to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments
• Capable of climbing stairs and opening large doors

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service-centered sales environments (e.g., retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel between work locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
