Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner representing Ashley's brand image.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications.
  • Aid in processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is complete and proper approvals are obtained before finalizing transactions.
  • Assist with customer credit applications, assist with financing arrangements, and maintain accurate customer account information in retail management systems.
  • Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions according to company policies under Office Manager supervision.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues to Management as appropriate while following up to ensure resolution.
  • Support Management with operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation and verifying accuracy of paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperwork is properly completed and filed according to company standards.
  • Work cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.
  • Utilize point-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools to perform job duties efficiently and accurately.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
  • One year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities – various shifts.
  • Maintain reliable attendance.
  • Thrive in a team environment.

Pay

This position pays an hourly rate of $19.00-$22.00.

Schedule

Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities – various shifts.
