Customer Service Representative - Temporary/Seasonal

About The Role

Please note that this is a temporary position that will be contracted from August 31st to November 13th.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls that require skilled communication and accurate information based on policies, guidelines, and directives of each agency represented.
• Act as a communication facilitator between the public and the contact center management.
• Communicate and process information to the Lead or Supervisor when necessary.
• Take and relay messages.
• Provide factual information to the public and/or other County employees.
• Maintain logs and other forms of information data entry.
• Complete and review routine forms and memos, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience and/or clerical experience.
• A High School diploma or GED.
• Post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Previous call center experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
