About The Role
Please note that this is a temporary position that will be contracted from August 31st to November 13th.
Responsibilities
- Receive calls that require skilled communication and accurate information based on policies, guidelines, and directives of each agency represented.
- Act as a communication facilitator between the public and the contact center management.
- Communicate and process information to the Lead or Supervisor when necessary.
- Take and relay messages.
- Provide factual information to the public and/or other County employees.
- Maintain logs and other forms of information data entry.
- Complete and review routine forms and memos, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- 6 months of customer service experience and/or clerical experience.
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Previous call center experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
