Primary Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Grieves customers, accepts deposits, disburses funds, and other transactions as requested
- Ensures all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, managing risk in every transaction
- Performs routine office and customer service duties
- Performs account maintenance on existing deposit accounts, as well as opening new accounts upon customer request
- Maintains product knowledge in order to cross-sell bank products by answering inquiries, informing customers of new services and product promotions, determining customer needs, and referring customers to other departments as necessary
- Resolves complex customer issues with authority and discretion
- Contributes to the continued improvement of overall company performance
Minimum Requirements
- A High School Diploma
- One year customer service or cash-handling experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate issues
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior financial services industry experience
- Some college education or a degree in a related field
