About the role
Responsible for providing superior customer service parts support to existing marine and industrial engine distributors while maximizing the sale of required parts.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements & effectively communicates the best possible solution
- Answer customer parts inquires
- Expedite & track delivery schedules on sales & purchase orders
- Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA management
- Manage parts discrepancy claims with customer & supplier
- Manage international & special account orders from start to finish
Job Requirements
- Technical aptitude and basic understanding of engines & the related parts
- At least three years of customer service experience
- Experience in the automotive or diesel engine market is a plus
- Experience with ERP system & customer account management tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail & organizational skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Must be able to occasionally move and or lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to sit throughout the workday
