Customer Service Representative - PT

Avis Budget Group is hiring immediately for a dynamic, hands-on role at our airport locations in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

About the role

This is an outdoor, multi-function role where you will assist customers throughout various parts of the rental and return process on our airport lots. Depending on the location, your responsibilities may include checking vehicles, entering information into a handheld device, processing rentals for loyalty customers, assisting customers at exit gates, and checking in vehicles at return. You’ll provide professional, friendly customer service to help ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the rental and return process on airport lots
• Check vehicles and enter information into a handheld device
• Process rentals for loyalty customers
• Assist customers at exit gates
• Check in vehicles at return
• Provide professional, friendly customer service

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
• Effective verbal communication and customer service skills
• Customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help people and create positive experiences
• Willingness to work outdoors and stay active
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Ability to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods and drive a variety of vehicles
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months retail or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus

Pay

$14.00/hour. Shift premium may apply.
