About the role

We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfill the role of an Customer Service Representative- OHI Call Center.

This position involves proactive outreach to insurance carriers, meticulous data entry and adherence to quality standards. Your work directly supports compliance and operational efficiency, making you an essential part of the team.

The role is open to individuals located in San Antonio TX and surrounding areas. Additionally, the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office. The project hours of operations will be Monday - Friday, in which candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time. 3 days in office 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound/inbound calls to health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance details.
  • Collect and confirm policy information through phone and web-based verification.
  • Accurately enter insurance data into the Third Party Liability (TPL) database.
  • Conduct special research and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a quality score of 98% or higher for all verification and data entry tasks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to client records in the system.
  • Complete verification processes within established turnaround times.
  • Support compliance by observing professional standards of conduct.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in Customer Service in a call center environment
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in data entry and navigation of web portals
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Office

  • This is a contractor role administered through a third-party payroll supplier. The supplier will determine compensation, benefits, and applicable employment policies.
