Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Core Values of 1st Security Bank and demonstrate dependability and reliability in all aspects of the position
  • Understand and adhere to the Bank’s Customer Service Protocols when greeting, meeting and interacting with customers
  • Follow cash handling procedures and be effective and proficient in counting cash and making deposits for customers
  • Takes ownership of the customer experience by being present and willing to help
  • Achieves monthly branch goals and referral goals to add value to our customers or prospective customers
  • Participates in customer calls for tasks such as CD maturity notifications, birthday greetings, marketing or call campaigns or other lists provided by management
  • Processes monetary transactions and balances cashbox daily
  • Receives and processes name and address changes and other account maintenance, as necessary
  • Researches and resolves customer complaints when necessary and assists other employees and departments whenever possible
  • Knows the features and benefits of 1st Security’s products and services
  • Maintains a positive attitude, show respect for others, and have some fun!
  • Supports management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and represents the bank with a high level of integrity
  • Travels to assigned 1st Security Bank locations as business needs require

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year experience within a financial institution
  • Basic knowledge of all applicable regulations that pertain to this position
  • Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures and related programs
  • Bondable

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Operate in a general office environment
  • Occasional lifting and moving of objects up to 25 pounds
  • Stand for extended periods of time and bend, reach and squat occasionally
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
  • Interacts frequently with the general public

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule

As part of the daily work demands, occasional lifting and moving of objects up to 25 pound is required.
